The Role
We are looking for a Multidisciplinary Referral Nurse to join our friendly nursing team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills within a well-supported environment, across a variety of disciplines such as Soft Tissue surgery, Orthopaedics, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Neurology and Diagnostic Imaging.
You’ll join a close-knit team of RVNs where you will rotate through these different referral disciplines, and work closely with your patients from prep, through anaesthesia and recovery before being hospitalised on-site with our dedicated out of hours team. The role will heavily involve anaesthesia, theatre, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and endoscopy, so would be perfectly suited to someone with an interest in these areas.
Our patients are looked after by dedicated, compassionate nurses and nursing assistants who strive to ensure our patients are looked after as if they were our own. Our fully equipped dedicated referrals suite offers the highest standard of surgical and diagnostic facilities, to ensure the best possible standards of care for our patients.
This is a full-time position working 40hrs per week, with 1:6 weekends on-call for inpatient care and some administrative tasks which is paid as overtime.
We are offering a generous salary up to £31,000 p.a. dependent on your level of nursing experience.

Rowe Referrals is an expert veterinary second opinion service, providing referral services to the South West. We have a number of specialists across a range of disciplines within our North Bristol-based referral hospital.
Rowe Referrals is unique due to our niche set up. The referral department has its own dedicated diagnostic and surgical equipment and facilities. The small nursing team all carry the same ethos for exemplary nursing care and work with highly qualified and experienced clinicians to provide gold standard care for our patients.

Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an experienced, flexible Registered Veterinary Nurse who possesses the ability to be forward thinking, empathetic and demonstrate exemplary teamwork. Referral nursing experience is not necessary as full training will be provided but advanced anaesthesia would be of an advantage.
