Our client is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Head Veterinary Nurse to join their impressive four-vet practice. This state-of-the-art facility offers clients laparoscopic/key-hole surgery, routine and advanced soft tissue surgery, and orthopaedic surgery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients
- Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activities
- Lead, manage, and promote nurse-led appointments
- Deliver patient monitoring and care
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
- Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care
- Dispense and check medication
- Deliver professional excellence, implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards
- Inspire your team by sharing new or evolving practice standards and changes to processes
- Engage, coach, and develop your team
Salary: £32,500 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekend Rota: 1:3 weekends
