My client is seeking a Clinical Nursing Manager to join their well-established veterinary practice, known for delivering the highest standard of care for pets and compassionate service to their owners. The practice has strong community ties and partnerships with charities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a broad range of nursing duties, including managing complex medical and surgical cases, consulting, assisting with anesthesia, and handling Schedule III procedures.
- Support the patient journey from admission to discharge, ensuring high standards of care.
- Work closely with veterinary surgeons who highly value the professionalism and input of the nursing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Role of Clinical Nursing Manager (CNM):
- Lead a team of RVNs, PCAs, and SVNs, building on their existing strengths.
- Collaborate with other management members to manage a team of Lead Nurses.
- Engage in both clinical duties and protected non-clinical time to develop the team and participate in senior leadership.
- Ensure effective management of the Nursing Team to support the practice's growth and success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a management role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, progressive environment.
Position Details:
- Full-time role (40 hours per week), with flexible scheduling over 4 or 5 days.
- Rotating weekends with time off in lieu.
- Competitive salary: £34,000 - £36,000 per annum, DOE.
Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have the relevant visas, if required. Must also be registered on the RCVS.
