VetPro Recruitment have an excellent opportunity available for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a wonderful practice in Cheshire. The nurses work either a four or five days per week based on their preference. Saturday morning 8:30-1:00pm and the rota is currently one in five. The out of hours work is covered by a dedicated team but occasionally keep the odd in-patient in overnight which may require a late check! Your day-to-day duties will include assisting in theatre with surgical procedures including exotic & Laparoscopy, dental procedures, diagnostic procedures including X-Ray, ultrasound & Endoscopy, plus much more. The role would suit a newly qualified Nurse who wanted to build on their skills within in a supportive team or an experienced Nurse wanting a change of environment and a new challenge. Schedule 3 procedures encouraged. You will be joining a friendly team made up of 5.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse. The team also do exotic referrals so there are also 2 Exotic Veterinary Surgeons, one of which has a certificate. On offer is a fantastic package including CPD allowance, paid memberships, and a competitive salary dependent on experience.
