The Role
Our Coulby Practice is experiencing an exciting period of development and we, therefore, have a fantastic new opportunity available for a confident and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Consult Nurse. This role will be predominantly focused on consultations, implementing, and then leading our nurse clinics, alongside closely working with the team to drive the continued development of the nurses within the Coulby practice.
The position will be a full-time role, 37.5 hours per week, with a share of 1 in 4 Saturday mornings, at the moment, with time back in lieu.
If you love the consulting side of nursing and are looking for an opportunity to lead and make real, valued change within a brilliant team – this could be the perfect role for you.
About Us
We are in a great location, only 15 minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors and within an hour of Leeds, York and Newcastle. Great for someone who loves the outdoors!
Coulby is a high standard GP Practice with ultrasound, full IDEXX blood machine range, BP monitoring and multi-parameter GA monitoring.
Our Clinic Director has a GPCert in Surgery and some of our team members are studying for their GP Certs in medicine, so we tackle a great variety of cases.
We also run our own Nurse clinics and encourage our Nurses to make full use of their clinical training and skills! We're also proud to have Nurses who have recently won the Hills Senior Nurse of the Year and the Hills Weight Management Nurse of the Year.
About the Team and Culture
There are currently 4 Vets, 6 RVN's, 1 VCA and 4 CCC's within the Coulby Practice. We are a close-knit team that love working together!
We enjoy our well-being afternoons and have recently had a lovely afternoon tea, an Easter Egg hunt, and a board game session! We have a nature walk and craft afternoon planned for our next one!
