Night Veterinary Nurse Required At Penmellyn Vets

The Role
Here at Penmellyn Vets, we are looking for an enthusiastic night/emergency care Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated out-of-hours team. Our night rota is currently shared between three experienced nurses and allows for plenty of time off to enjoy everything the local area has to offer.
This position is currently 3 nights per fortnight worked with one full week off. We do have the option for other work this week to increase the salary if needed. Our night shifts run from 6:30pm until 8:30am and weekends can be discussed at the interview stages.
About Us
Penmellyn Vets is based in mid-Cornwall close to some of the wonderful cornish beaches. We have a happy vibrant team of 25 FTE Veterinary Surgeons, over 40 FTE Registered Veterinary Nurses, and Support Staff. The practice has expanded rapidly over the past few years. We see a very broad and interesting caseload and we are keen to support further study within our nursing team.
We have superb facilities including a Siemens Somatom Scope 16 CT Scanner. Our Cornwall Veterinary Referrals department has a specialist in Orthopaedics allowing further interesting cases into our practice.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse or an almost qualified confident Student Veterinary Nurse. The candidate must provide excellent care to animals and to build positive relationships with members of the team and clients.
