Tame & Wild are recruiting for a Deputy Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Derby on a permanent basis.

This role requires at least 2 years practice based experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will either need to be a Clinical Coach or be willing to train as the role will involved mentoring and nurturing the practice's students.

Organisational skills are essential as you will play in role in rota management, holiday organisation and organising external CPD for the 8 strong nurse team and 2 students.

The salary for this position is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Hours;

40 Hours per week

Mixture of 8 hour shifts

1 in 5 weekends

No OOHs or on call

Requirements;

Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have the relevant visas, if required.

You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse on the RCVS Register. 3rd year Student Veterinary Nurses may be considered if they are due to qualify within a few months.
