Pride Veterinary Centre - Referral Specialists
Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom
If you are a qualified registered veterinary nurse who is seeking variety in your career then we have the perfect opportunity for you. We use multi-parameter monitors to monitor our patients under anaesthesia, reporting any problems to the specialist anaesthetists. Other than anaesthesia we also take on a circulating theatre nurse role. This involves preparing each theatre for surgery with the correct equipment, preparing the patient and personnel for theatre, maintaining sterility during surgery, and assisting with theatre equipment. All our theatre nurses are highly skilled due to the in-depth training available.
Pride Veterinary Centre offers a range of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Our diagnostics and treatments are second to none and we have many highly trained and experienced colleagues to ensure that our patients receive the very best treatment.
We strive to deliver world class patient care and our fantastic facilities provide a superb care environment, including 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, full advanced imaging suite, 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, hydrotherapy pool and treadmills and dedicated chemo and radio-iodine treatment rooms.
