We are looking for Registered Veterinary Nurse to join us! The role is very rewarding where you can develop your skills further. It involves general nursing, including pre and post-operative patient care, anaesthetic monitoring, performing minor surgical procedures, nursing consults for puppies, kittens and rabbits and adult and geriatric clinics for specific health conditions such as blood pressure diabetes weight management. You will give general client advice and communicate over the phone regarding aspects of pet ownership and nursing as well as the taking of repeat prescription requests and preparing prescriptions.

We are a single site practice in Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot with a great team of vets, nurses and support staff. We have all the usual toys digital X-ray, dental x-ray state of the art dental machine, ultrasound scanner, orthopaedic instruments with TPLO kit. We see cardiology, exotic, orthopaedic and sort tissue cases.

Ideally you will have some experience as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Applicants seeking part time hours welcomed. You must be able to work on your own and with a team. Further qualifications would be an added advantage. Interest in a specific field of nursing would be supported. You will be joining an experienced team of colleagues who perform to a high standard of care. Having a good sense of humour and bedside manner are essential.
