The Role
Here at Haydon Veterinary Centre we are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The day to day duties include Admit and Discharges, assisting Vets with imaging, monitoring anaesthetics, nurse consultations, occasional reception, cleaning duties.
Our full-time rota is a 4 day week to include 1 night oncall and 1 in 4 weekends oncall. The clinic is open Monday to Friday 8.30-6.30 and Saturday mornings 8.30-12. The shift patterns tend to be 4, 9-hour shifts.
About Us
We are a friendly small animal practice located on the Jurassic Coast. All our Vets are certificate holders in surgery, ophamology and medicine. We have laparoscopic equipment which we use routinely. We are delighted to now offer keyhole surgery. This causes significantly less morbidity and post-operative pain than traditional techniques, leading to a quicker recovery from the surgery.
We currently have 3 Vets with certificates in Small Animal Surgery, Medicine and Ophthalmology, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Receptionists and 1 Kennel Hand.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who is interested in building and maintaining relationships with all clients and their pets. They must have exceptional clinical standards and enjoy working as part of a team.
