The Role
Blackness Vets, Dundee is looking for a registered/soon to be qualified RVN to join their team. General Nursing Duties to include Radiography / Imaging, Anaesthesia, Nurse clinics, Lab work, Sample collection, Line placement & Inpatient care. This is a busy hands-on nursing role where you will be utilising your nursing skills and training to be part of a dynamic team.
Rota
Working up to 37.5 hours per week,
Across 4/4.5 days per week (part time hours can also be considered)
Typical Rota pattern for a 4-day week can be 8am-6:16pm or 10am-8pm/ 4.5-day weeks shift starts at 8am,8:30am or 9am with on late star in the week (12pm)
1:5 weekends (8am-2pm)
No OOH or on call work

About Us
Small Animal Practice set within the City of Discovery (Dundee). Our Practice hosts a Dental Suite, 2 Operating Theatres, an Imaging Suite, Lab area, 4 Consultations rooms and a large Kennel area.
We host a variety of up-to-date equipment, including Dental X-ray and Endoscope.
We have 5 Vet Surgeons, 5 vet nurses, 9 reception team members and 3 within the management team. We have a vet surgeon with a particular interest in imaging and is set to complete her Mentor training for our New Graduate Vet as well a number of Clinical Coaches in practice.
Applicant Requirements
Must be RCVS registered or due to register, ideally with experience within a small animal practice, however we can accept a Veterinary Nurse Student who is waiting to sit their OSCE's or awaiting their OSCE results. Further certification is fully supported and funded.
