The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Glenbrae Vets on a full or part time basis. The duties and responsibilities for this role include assisting veterinary surgeons with procedures, medical nursing of our varied caseload, laboratory work, nurse consultations and anaesthesia management.
Our nurses also play a vital role in preventative and holistic healthcare for our patients through their daily RVN clinics. You will liaise with vets and the front of house team to ensure the best patient outcomes. Our nursing team are encouraged to utilise their skills to the maximum level.
The shift pattern will be a 38-hour working week (full time) which can be flexible over 4 days. Saturdays 1:4 with no OOH or Sundays.
Salary of up to £28,000 FTE depending on experience.

Glenbrae has been established since 1990 and we are a 3-site busy practice. Our mission is to provide outstanding conventional and holistic care from a local friendly and caring team. Our service include laparoscopy, dental radiography, ultrasonography including specialist input, laser therapy and acupuncture, stem cell therapy and a consultancy homeopathic service.
About the Team and Culture
We are a forward thinking, proactive team who care about our clients, patients, and each other. We actively promote a healthy mindset and wellbeing giving each other support both professionally and personally. Our clinics are situated in Bearsden, Dumbarton and Muirhead allowing us to serve a large area of clients. We are a team of 35, made up of 10 vets, 9 RVNs, 2 SVNs and 9 CCA's and other admin support staff. We have a visiting homeopath consultant and visiting ultrasonographer. We are proud to support our local communities and have a charity dog show arranged for 18th June
Applicant Requirements
The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will have experience with nursing consultations and assisting with laparoscopic neutering would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
