This modern clinic offers a light, airy space with separate theatre, kennels, cattery, isolation, x-ray/dental/x-ray, and prep rooms. The clinic also has dedicated waiting rooms for cats, small animals, anxious dogs, and friendly dogs, ensuring stress-free visits for all patients.
The practice emphasizes team collaboration as key to success, with regular out-of-work activities and professional development opportunities, including career progression support and CPD with a leadership team that has been promoted from within, demonstrating a strong focus on internal career growth.
The successful candidate will be responsible for and required to
- Support surgeries and maintain a sterile environment.
- Assisting with pre-op preparation and post-op recovery for patients.
- Ensure the daily rota has a balanced mix of responsibilities, keeping the role dynamic and engaging.
- Foster a tight-knit, supportive team culture with frequent opportunities for feedback, appraisals, and team-building activities.
- Proficiency in monitoring anaesthesia.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 40 hours a week 8.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday with the option of working five 8-hour days or four 10-hour days with 30-minute lunch breaks. The successful candidate will also be working 1:4 Saturday mornings 9am – midday on a rolling Rota.
