Job Description: Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: Loughton
Type: Permanent
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, including one in three weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to all patients
- Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures and consultations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic tests and radiographs
- Monitor and care for in-patients, including pre and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Educate and support pet owners on post-operative care, nutrition, and general animal care
- Ensure the practice's standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota
