The Role
Due to an increase in our surgical caseloads, we are looking for an additional RVN to join our well-established nursing team of 6 nurses. We are looking for someone with a keen interest in anaesthesia and in-patient care as the role will be mainly clinical with minimal reception work.
Our newly renovated practice is well-equipped with ultrasound, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, blood pressure and lab facilities as well as separate cat and dog kennel areas.
Our Chryston branch practice is also ISFM silver accredited with separate dog and cat waiting areas, consulting rooms and kennels and separate isolation area.
The role would be 40-hours full time cover with set day shift patterns and 1:5 Saturday mornings (9am-1pm).
Salary for this role is up to £25,000 depending on experience.
About Us
We are a long-established friendly practice, who has recently underwent a full renovation. We are located on the outskirts of Glasgow- close to all that the city has to offer but also half an hour away from Loch Lomond. We are a two-centre practice with ultrasound, x-ray and dental facilities at both sites.
About the Team and Culture
We have a great team of 6 nurses, 13 vets and a wonderful team of receptionists. We believe communication is key to a happy working environment.
Applicant Requirements
Our nurses are encouraged to utilise their skills, so we are looking for someone who is keen to expand their nursing skills in all aspects of the role. Confidence in all aspects of nursing is required as you will be involved in a vast range of responsibilities, such as client communication and ordering. We are also a training practice for student nurses so someone with clinical coach experience would be advantageous, but training can be provided if desired.
