We have an exciting opportunity to join our amazing OOH team in Cheltenham!
The role is inpatient care for a high-end first opinion practice with plenty of time off to enjoy the pleasures of life with excellent renumeration!
With 14 vets and 20 nurses, we are a busy first opinion practice, regularly performing referral level work such as TPLO's, thoracotomies and imaging such as CT, endoscopy and echocardiography. We have several RCVS Advanced practitioners in small animal surgery, cardiology and internal medicine and our nurses hold qualifications in nutrition and behaviour.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working within a small, dedicated team including a vet, receptionist and animal care assistant and be able to triage and manage common medical and surgical emergency admissions alongside the vet who stays on-site overnight. An upbeat demeanour and the ability to communicate clearly and calmly with clients; both in person and over the telephone would be advantageous.
