Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Salary: £30,000
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with weekends on a fair rota.
Additional Considerations: We are also open to considering a 2nd year Student Veterinary Nurse for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to animals
- Assist veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Educate pet owners on postoperative care, nutrition, and general animal welfare
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure the veterinary clinic is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked
- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or a 2nd year Student Veterinary Nurse
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient approach to animal care
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of a rota
