Our lovely client in Southampton is recruiting for a fantastic opportunity has an unmissable opportunity for an RVN to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The purpose-built surgery is well equipped, with wonderful facilities such as in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, operating theatres & multiple, bright and airy consulting rooms. They offer amazing services such as orthopaedics, specific airway treatment & a variety of dental care options.
The team currently consists of 5 vets and an established, supportive nursing team, with a variety of special interests and experience levels across the team.
As a RVN, you will be involved in all general nursing duties expected of a first opinion, small animal practice. This will include taking bloods, some lab work, inpatient care, anaesthesia, surgery prep and nurse consults/clinics as required. The practice sees a varied caseload, so you will also have the opportunity to work some more complex medical and surgical cases. You will be a key participant in driving the practice forward, and will be valued and supported as part of the team.
This is a full-time, 40-hour week with 1:4 weekends on a rota.
Experience / Who we are looking for
• You must be registered with the RCVS
• Confident in all general nursing duties
• Positive, team orientated approach
• Keen to continually develop your professional skills
