We are looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to provide high standard of patient care at our busy and friendly practice in Southampton. You will be mainly based at the Park branch, but shifts at the Ashurst and Fair Oak branches may be required. You will be involved with the clinical coaching of student nurses and have the opportunity to develop your interests. Schedule 3 is encouraged. The position is 5 days per week with 1:8 Saturdays (9am - 4pm) and no OOH. Salary range is £21,500 - £24,000 depending on experience. We have recently upgraded our lab machines and have high quality monitoring equipment. We have all the usual 'mod cons' as well as recently updated kennels. We offer a wide case-load due to varied vet interests and we pride ourselves on training student nurses. We are a friendly, forward-thinking practice with a strong bond. We have regular meetings to discuss the practice and ideas are always encouraged. Ideally you will have post qualification experience and clinical coach status (or willing to become one). You will be a good team-player and be someone that can get 'stuck in' and be forward thinking. Good organisational skills are vital- we are busy! Enthusiasm and a passion for the future of veterinary nursing is essential.
