Senior Veterinary Nurse Required At Amery Vets In Bordon, Hampshire

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to take over the role as Senior RVN at our Bordon surgery. The role would include theatre, inpatients, consults and reception duties. We have 2 shifts per day (8.15-16.30 or 10-19.30). We open until 1pm on Saturdays and this is covered on a 1:3 basis. We have no OOH but we do care for our inpatients ourselves on a 1:8 weekends basis.

We are located on the Hampshire/Surrey border. We have 3 well equipped surgeries with digital x-ray, ultrasound, microscopy and Idexx lab machines. Our team has 9 vets, 7 RVNs, 4 SVNs and 5 receptionists. We have vets that are interested in general surgery, orthopaedics and exotics. The successful candidate will have the support of our Senior Nurse in Alton and other experienced colleagues.

The candidate should have good communication skills and be highly motivated to give the highest of quality care to our patients that we pride ourselves on giving. This role would suit a RVN looking to take the next step to further their career. Also, being a Clinical Coach would also be beneficial but not essential.
