Registered Veterinary Nurse Required At Avenue Vets, Grantham.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team of 5 nurses at Avenue Veterinary Centre. The days are varied, duties include kennel work, theatre, consults and lab work which is on rota basis. The practice is at an exciting stage where we are embarking on our RCVS Accreditation journey so input into this project would be very useful. We provide our own OOH to our clients and therefore you would be required to partake in the OOH rota which is 1:5 nights and 1:5 weekends.
• Daytime shifts (8:30am-4:30pm) 3 days a week, (8:30am-6:30pm) 1 day and OOH
and 1 day (8:00am-4:00pm)
• OOH 1:5 nights
• 1:5 weekends (Friday off following working weekend)

About Us
We are a traditional mixed animal practice in the historic town of Grantham in Lincolnshire. We have a lovely spacious practice with modern facilities, and we would like someone who is very much a team player to join us. We are a young, fun and progressive team of 10 vets and 5 nurses, with lots of support for anyone wanting to pursue a particular interest. Under normal working conditions individuals take on different roles within the team, some are very sociable and spend time together away from work and others have very fulfilled lives away from work making for a very diverse and dynamic team.

Applicant Requirements
The ideal candidate would be experienced, competent, motivated and have a positive attitude. There is always support for anyone wanting to expand their skills and knowledge base. Experience with the RCVS PSS scheme would be desirable along with the ability to offer help with clinical coaching, although not essential.
