A charity hospital in London are recruiting a permanent full-time registered nurse to join their busy hospital. They are looking for an RVN who works to a high standard of clinical care whilst continuing to promote animal wellbeing and preventative care. The role involves supporting veterinary surgeons in theatres, inpatient care, consultations, dispensing medication, admissions and discharges and carrying out nurse clinic consultations. This is a full-time role comprising of 37.5Hours per week. It is an excellent career development opportunity for an RVN to be exposed to a huge variety of cases including complex cases whilst being heavily supported by fellow colleagues. There is also an opportunity for the RVN to perform out schedule 3 surgery with support. The practice has a large loyal client base with each day being different. They always pride themselves on delivering a professional service.

Key Details:

• Vet nurses shifts typically are from 8am-4.30pm to 9.30am to 6pm.

37.5 Hours per week
• No OOH, as this is fully outsourced - Vets Now do night cover on site.

• The caseload is varied and would make a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills.

• They have the work / life balance sorted and are flexible on the working hours

• Clinical staff typically work 1 in 6 Saturday mornings from 9-12 and receive time off in lieu the following week

• Pets and people at the heart of what they do UK wide



About the Role:

The Nurse will be working as part of the team with a variety of duties from supporting the theatre, inpatient care, consults, admission, dispensing medications, maintaining hygiene and encouraging financial contributions.
• The hospital building is well equipped with plenty of consulting space allowing them to meet the demands of this busy small practice.

There is the opportunity to perform Schedule 3 surgery with full training and support encouraged
• The caseload is very varied on a day to day basis

Package:

• Salary £23,405 - £25,573 Pro Rata

• 37.5 Hours per week
