We are recruiting for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Hendon London. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with a 1:6 weekend rota with time back in lieu. There is a share of the bank holiday rota and on call rota spread across the region.

This is a busy 24-hour practice with state of the art facilities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Endoscope and laparoscopic facilities. They comprise of a team of 8 Vets, 5 RVNS. 6 SVNS and supporting staff.




The practices provide a high standard of clinical care and pride themselves on having staff members who stand apart from the rest and have a real passion and vision for how they work. They provide ongoing training and support to all team members through dedicated training centres. All staff also benefit from the access to the best diagnostic equipment such as MRI machines and CT scanners and state of the art operating theatres.


About the role

The practice requires an enthusiastic passionate nurse to join their team. Due to the nature and level of support available the practice will also accept applications from 3rd year students who are qualifying shortly.

They must have excellent customer service skills along with a caring and empathising attitude.

Ideally the RVN will have a experience working in a small animal practice. the role involves all aspects of general nursing. The RVN will understand what is required of their own role as well as an understanding the capabilities of SVNs and will enjoy providing mentoring and coaching support. The RVN must have a genuine passion for animal welfare and be able to work well as part of a team.

About you

Salary: Commensurate to experience
