An exciting opportunity has arisen for an OOH weekend Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal team at a practice in Northamptonshire. Due to a change in personal circumstances, the current weekend RVN is moving on, therefore a vacancy for OOH shifts every Saturday and Sunday (7pm-8am) have become available. This practice covers OOH for 10 other clinics, as well as own clients. You would be working alongside an experienced OOH Vet team including 2 ECC certificate holders and a VCA on shift. This new hospital will have 3 theatres, a large colleague area with fully fitted out kitchen, a quiet room, 4 wards with CASCO heated kennels, bedrooms for the OOH team, plus an outside quiet grass area to sit. Your role will include assisting emergency procedures/surgery, AFAST/TFAST scanning, inpatient monitoring, intensive care of critical patients, plus much more. Two days paid CPD with no financial limit. Additional certificates and study encouraged and funded. Occasional shift or locum applications welcome. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
