We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Easipetacre team at Kettering. Our fast-paced practice is one of the busiest practices in the group with a high surgical case load. Our nursing team is led by our highly experienced Head Nurse who enjoys mentoring and supporting our new RVN's. The role includes all aspects of nursing including theatre, inpatient care, in-house laboratory tests, nurse clinics along with providing a gold standard level of customer and patient care. The practice is now (10min) appointments only. No on-call or OOH duties allowing for an excellent work-life balance.
• 5 Days per week (combination of early and late shifts)
• 1:3 Saturdays
• No OOH
We are very proud that Easipetcare, Kettering is our first practice opening over 10 years ago. We have a great support team, nurses (all RVN’s) and our reception team have been around since the beginning – with over 50 years experience between them. This is a modern, large practice with an established client base. The practice is well equipped, including digital x-ray, consult rooms, separate kennels, cattery, prep and theatre.
Our five-vet team is led by our highly experienced Head Vet who is also our Group Operations Director. We have six RVN's and the whole team is supported by our super-efficient receptionists. We are a family friendly team who regularly host charity bake offs.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a great work ethic and excellent communication skills. However, we would also consider a new graduate looking to gain further experience in a supportive environment. The ability to work well in a team, have a passion for all aspects of general nursing and sense of humour is essential.
