A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated RVN to join our friendly and dynamic small animal team based near Clovenfords, Scottish Borders.
Our aim is to make the patients and clients feel part of the practice, providing a professional yet caring service. We believe in being proactive, encourage our nurses to apply their initiative and specialist skills, alongside the vets, to ensure the highest level of care is delivered to our patients and clients.
We are a small yet mighty team with a varied case load, giving nurses the opportunities to use and develop their qualification, with support from the whole team. The ideal candidate will have completed their clinical coach training.
We are looking for someone to help with our surgical caseload, look after our inpatients and participate in the nurse consultation rota.
This role will be based at our main practice near Clovenfords, with occasional shifts across our other branch practices. It's a 4 day working week, with a share of the Saturday morning rota, with no OOH or on call – our patients are transferred to a local dedicated emergency team.
Salary & benefits:
- Between £25,000 – £28,000, depending on experience
- 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
