We are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice in North Somerset for a Head RVN/Clinical Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team and make a difference to the lives of animals. The practice is modern and fully equipped with surgical and inpatient facilities on-site.
The Head RVN role involves both hands-on clinical work and admin tasks, such as rota management, VN meetings, appraisals and promoting evidence based clinical improvements. This position is ideal for an experienced all-rounder, with some experience of supporting your peers and an interest in nurse clinics, teaching, and Schedule 3 VN procedures.
Hours are 40 hours per week Monday - Friday, plus 1:4 Saturday morning shifts on a shared rota basis. Ad hoc overnight inpatient care on a shared rota basis. No on-call.
As a Head RVN/Clinical Coach, you’ll receive a competitive salary £30K+ pro rata (depending on experience) plus additional benefits. CPD allowance, paid annual RCVS membership, VDS cover, and career progression.
