Are you an ambitious Senior RVN with a passion for providing outstanding levels of hospital care? If so, we would love to hear from you! We are working with a fully-equipped, RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital in South Hertfordshire who are looking for a focused and dedicated Senior RVN to join their lovely team. Ideally you will have hospital experience and/or senior nurse experience already, but we will also consider applications from experienced RVNs who are ready for the next step in their careers. You will enjoy seeing a wide range of surgical and medical cases and should be committed to using your existing knowledge and skills to their full potential. This well-equipped practice features state of the art facilities, including laparoscopy, endoscopy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray, fully equipped in house lab, isolation and separate dog and cat ward. They are also an ISFM GOLD cat friendly practice and a rabbit friendly practice. The surgery operates to an extremely high standard, and is looking for a conscientious individual who takes great pride in their work to continue to uphold these standards and values.
You will be working in all areas of the hospital from theatre, anaesthesia, diagnostics, wards inpatient care and dispensary; with a wide variety of cases and lots of hands on nursing. In addition to this, you will be supervising the nursing team on a day to day basis, motivating and encouraging others to utilise their skills to their full potential.
Ideally you will have hospital experience and some senior RVN experience – however, we will accept applications from confident RVNs who are keen to take the next step in their careers.
