We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to help lead and support our nursing team. You will be participating in and overseeing all nursing duties. The position is full time, working 5 days a week (shifts fall between 7am and 8pm). Salary for this role is £27,500.
We are an RCVS accredited small animal hospital with our own dedicated out of hours team. We have state of the art equipment including in house laboratory, dental X-ray, laparoscopic equipment. We also have a cardiology referral service with ECG, ultrasound and X-ray equipment. We have separate dog and cat wards.
We have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses plus students and nursing support. We have cardiology referral clinician with a cardiology certificate. We also have an Out of Hours vet with an ECC certificate. We have a friendly, supportive team who work closely together, for example with inclusive word rounds three times a day to ensure the best patient care.
We are looking for an RVN preferably with some supervisory experience, who is eager to help lead our nursing team by demonstrating role model behaviour in providing nursing care to our patients.
