We're looking for a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s friendly, close-knit team from April onwards – offering flexible options for both permanent and locum applicants.
You'll play a vital role in this progressive, independent practice, working across all areas of nursing – from consulting to theatre and patient care. The team is committed to supporting nurses at all stages of their career, so whether you're newly qualified or looking to take the next step in your career, you'll be fully supported to develop your skills.
The Working Hours:
This role offers structured weekly shifts to give you consistency and work-life balance:
- 7:30am – 4:00pm
- 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Split shift: 8:00am – 1:00pm then 4:00pm – 6:30pm
- 11:45am – 7:30pm
You’ll work one of each shift per week, with Fridays on a rotating schedule.
🛑 No out-of-hours or late nights
📅 1 in 4 Saturdays (8am – 2pm) with a half-day off the following Friday
What We're Looking For:
- Second-year student veterinary nurse, newly qualified RVN, or experienced nurse
- Passionate about patient care and client communication
- Confident across all areas of nursing or keen to learn
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ideally local to the practice – but accommodation available as part of a package for the right candidate
What's on Offer?
💸 Salary between £26,000 - £30,000 for newly qualified or second-year trainees
💪 Up to £33,000 for experienced nurses
🌴 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
📚 CPD encouraged and supported
🚫 No OOH
🏡 Accommodation available for permanent candidates
