We provide a varied working day for our nursing team, day duties depend on the shift but include anaesthetic monitoring, care of inpatients, nurse consultations, assisting reception, drug dispensing, lab work, and maintaining a sterile work environment. The role will allow for great clinical exposure and the opportunity to work amongst a friendly and supportive team.

Salary for the role is up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

About Us

We are a long-established, Small Animal Veterinary Group based in Woking, Bagshot, and Addlestone. As a progressive practice, we recently relocated to our brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, which has Silver Cat-Friendly status, and continue to invest to refurbish and equip our other 2 practices to the same high standard. We also have a purpose-built grooming salon at our main site. One of the most important things to us here at Lynton is our history and local “Village Vet” reputation for providing the highest level of service and value for all our clients. Therefore, we have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community."

About the Team and Culture

Our 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and experienced Receptionists across the Group. We have a family-like culture in practice and have embedded a true support and encourage ethos amongst the team. Each practice has an essential SOS chocolate station, and we are never short of cake with some excellent bakers across the group!

The mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to us - we like to show our support both in-house and externally by taking part in charity events such as "Ride for Dementia" and "Relay for Life" in aid of cancer research.

Applicant Requirements

Lynton Veterinary Group has a friendly team, and we are looking for a forward-thinking confident team player who has great communication and organisation skills. You will be able to use your own initiative and be happy to delegate where required, but also muck in with the team. Due to the demands of the role, we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse.
