We have an unmissable opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our friendly team at Greenford Vets for Pets, sister practice to our hugely successful ‘concept’ site in Brentford.
About us:
The team hold a wide variety of individual interests from medicine through to soft issue and orthopaedic surgery and we offer a generous CPD allowance. The practice is on a large mezzanine which is well lit, spacious and is set-up with all the modern equipment you'd expect from a growing GP practice.
Our location also offers fantastic transport links into central London and offers free on -site parking.
Working alongside our dedicated team of 1 vet (and growing) and 5 nurses, we're looking for a nurse with great communication skills, as well as someone confident in all areas of general nursing.
We will consider full time and part time hours, giving the successful candidate a great work-life balance. There will be 1 in 3 weekends lieu time.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver the best levels of patient and customer care, taking full ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Manage and deal with bookings professionally and efficiently using RX Works Greet clients and their pets for appointments, being sensitive to their requirements and promoting a professional image always Comply with all policies and procedures within the surgery, including Health and Safety Regulations Calculate and administer medications and keeping accurate records Assist the Veterinary Surgeon during surgical procedures.
- You will have a good experience of veterinary nursing with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- You should be an effective team player, have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation.
- You are friendly, down-to-earth, have a genuine interest in animal welfare and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues alike.
