We have a rolling rota which covers all aspects of the RVN role including kennels, operations, nurse clinics etc. No/minimal reception duties. Clinical coaching of student nurses if desired. Covering some out of hours in-patient shifts when required, but no ‘on-call’ emergency cover. Generous time off in lieu. This is a great opportunity to build all aspects of the role to fit personal circumstances.
Based at the edge of the South Downs National Park on the south coast of England, a short distance from Brighton, and yet within easy reach of London, Crossways has an excellent reputation for providing the highest quality personalised care for our clients and their pets. We have three branches in West Sussex at Storrington, Steyning and Findon Valley. We are adding to our nursing team to support our continued growth and are looking for a full-time candidate. Crossways is a well-equipped practice, facilities include laser therapy, laparoscopy, ultrasound, full soft tissue and orthopaedic equipment and stem cell regenerative medicine.
Candidates must be RCVS registered and qualified. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with a level of experience but newly qualified applicants are also welcome to apply. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, adaptable, and a good team player who has the ability to work under supervision or on their own. Strong communication skills are also important for the role.
