The Role
Northdale Veterinary Practice have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team!
We are a small animal practice offering a varied role, including surgery, hospitalisation, clinics, dispensing, and discharge appointments, some reception work is also involved.
The rota is currently based on Monday-Friday and 1:4 Saturdays. The hours are 8:00am until 19:00pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays 8:00am to 14:00pm. No out of hours. We are happy to offer some flexibility if required for the right new member of our team.
Salary
Salary for the role is up to £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
About Us
Northdale Vets is a long-established Veterinary practice on the Sunny South Coast with one main and two branch surgeries. We are a friendly caring practice who encourage development and progression within our nursing team. We have a good range of facilities including digital x-ray, ultrasound, bronchoscope and separate cat and dog wards. We are RCVS and silver cat award accredited. Situated between the coast and South Downs and close to busy Brighton we are ideally situated for all kinds of leisure and relaxation activities. Staff welfare is a high priority, and we provide fresh fruit weekly and refreshments and treats!
About the Team and Culture
We have 6 Vets, 7 Nurses and 12 support staff. We do not have any certificate holders but would support you to do one if you were interested. We are a general practice, and you would do a bit of everything. We offer a big staff room and paid tea breaks. Refreshments and fresh fruit are provided. We benefit from the support of being part of a larger group while maintaining our own identity. We have supported several new graduates before, and they all stayed on for a few years. We can allow you time to progress with support and coaching. We support several local charities and do an annual charity dog show in the town.
Applicant Requirements
We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse, preferably with some experience although we are happy to consider a second- or third-year student. The ideal candidate would be a good team player and enjoy a varied role within practice.
