Our client’s well-established small animal practice in West Yorkshire is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead their nursing team. This role is essential in maintaining high clinical standards and ensuring a positive experience for both patients and clients.
Strong clinical skills and a passion for high-quality patient care along with the ability to mentor and develop a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Leading and inspiring the nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
- Working closely with the Lead Vet and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Mentor and support the nursing team, helping them to develop their skills.
- Assist the Clinical Nursing Manager in ensuring that all new nurses receive comprehensive induction and ongoing support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be joining a supportive environment and be part of a passionate team committed to providing exceptional care with plenty of opportunities for continuous learning and career growth, with support for developing leadership skills. This role offers the opportunity to enjoy a balanced role with 95% clinical work and 5% administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on patient care while contributing to the practice's operations.
This is a permanent, full-time role with 1:4 Saturday mornings and a flexible Rota pattern so please do let us know your preferences.
