About the role:
Due to continued expansion, we are in search of 2 passionate, ambitious and enthusiastic Night RVNs to join our dedicated OOH and ECC team at Swift Referrals. We are a busy emergency centre where high quality nursing is championed, and we are true advocates for supporting personal growth and clinical development for our entire nursing team.
We are looking for someone who can commit to one of the following shift patterns (please note shift times are 7.30pm-8.30am):
Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights, plus 1:4 Saturdays
Or
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights, plus 1:4 Saturdays.
We are committed to providing industry-leading salaries for our RVNs, which will be circa £18.00/hr dependent on experience.
Our emergency team provides OOH care to our referral inpatients, as well as first opinion emergency cases that come in overnight and stay with us for the duration of their care. The role would be perfectly suited to RVNs who enjoy the variety of OOHs work and would thrive in a role where they can focus on nursing critical patients within our large, purpose-built intensive care unit. This is not a sole charge position, and you will work your night shifts supported within a team of clinicians, RVNs and ACAs.

Opened in 2019 and purpose-built to industry leading standards, Swift Referrals is a multidisciplinary referral hospital offering the very best in veterinary excellence, all under one roof. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, neurology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, housing world-class facilities on our premises from advanced imaging machines to specialist treatment and aftercare rooms. We have 1.5T Siemens MRI scanner, 128 Slice GE CT scanner, doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, arthroscopy and state-of-the-art operating theatres, and separate dog and cat wards. Our supportive, expert team is continually growing along with our caseload and client base, and we have recently opened a second building which is dedicated to ECC and OOH cases and houses a large ICU for our critical patients.
