Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in West Yorkshire as a Rotating Nurse. The role offers a unique chance to expand your nursing skills in a multidisciplinary referral hospital while working with a passionate and supportive team. If you have a special interest in any area of veterinary nursing, our client is open to accommodating this in the rota, providing you with opportunities to grow in your preferred field.

This is a is a purpose-built, multidisciplinary veterinary hospital specializing in orthopaedics, neurology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. The hospital provides state-of-the-art equipment, including A 1.5T Siemens MRI scanner, A 128 Slice GE CT scanner, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, and arthroscopy and a dedicated ICU for critical patients and separate dog and cat wards. The team includes over 80 staff members, and the facility operates to industry-leading standards with a commitment to both clinical excellence and team wellbeing. There is also a dedicated ECC and OOH centre for emergency and critical care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for patient care from admission through to discharge, ensuring the highest standard of care at each stage of their journey and as a rotating nurse, you’ll work across various departments including Soft Tissue & Orthopaedic Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Advanced Imaging.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 30 hours a week over 3 days 7.30am – 8pm depending on rotation. There is also a 1:4 weekend Rota with time off in lieu. However, our client can be flexible and accommodate your preferences wherever possible in the interest of supporting a healthy work-life balance for our team.
