The Role
Clent Hills Vets in Bromsgrove have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated registered veterinary nurse to join their busy practice! The successful candidate will take care of consults, assisting vets with procedures, monitoring anaesthetics, diagnostic imaging and inpatient care.
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours over 5 days, typical shifts are between the hours of 8 am – 7:30 pm, however, we can be flexible with days and hours. You will also take part in the shared weekend rota, however, there are no out-of-hours duties as we have a team of night nurses.
The salary for this role is up to £25,500 depending on experience.
About Us
We are large first opinion practice within Worcestershire, based close to town and a local park if you wish to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. We regularly carry out laparoscopic spays, and diagnostic imaging and are kitted out with excellent facilities including 7 consult rooms with a nurse consult room, a dedicated cat-only consult room and a euthanasia room. We also have 2 theatres, a dental theatre, and a large prep room.
About the Team and Culture
At this branch we are a team of 7 Vets, 10 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses and 2 veterinary care assistants, all working a mixture of full and part-time. One of our vets has a surgical Certificate holder and 2 working towards internal medicine certificates. We are a friendly, fun-loving team, always up for a buffet-style lunch break together in our big staff room. We have whole practice parties several times a year including a Christmas party and a summer party organised by staff to ensure everyone is included. We hold regular nurse meetings and of course, pizza is provided!
