My client is looking for a part time Veterinary Surgeon to work sole charge for part of the week at their small, friendly practice. The role is for approximately 25 hours per week, ideally on Wednesday afternoons, Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Saturday mornings. No OOH and no Sundays. My client has served the local community for generations and has a wonderful, loyal client base who you will grow to know well during your time with them. They pride themselves on having an experienced and knowledgeable team who all support each other and aspire to provide the highest standards in client and patient care. They are a 100% small animal practice with a varied caseload. They work up their cases thoroughly and understand the importance of continuity for both client, patient and clinician. The practice is well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound with colour, full in-house Idexx laboratory, gold standard anaesthesia using Humphrey ADE circuits, multiparameter monitors, oxygen generators and more.
They are looking for someone who is comfortable working sole charge with experience and confidence in all first opinion duties. You will be self-motivated, confident, a great team player and committed to upholding the highest standards in client and patient care. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients is essential.
