An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a team at a practice in Berkshire. Your day-to-day duties will involve a mixture of consultations and surgery days, requiring some sole charge work. You will be responsible for the workup and care of patients that they see and admit into the practice and will be working across at least two sites. Some sole charge will be expected for branch work so some experience ideal. The practice is ideally looking for a Vet to work a 4-day week (36hrs) although the practice is flexible to part-time hours. 4-day week with set day off. 2 in 10 weekends (Friday 6-7pm and inpatient check 10pm, Saturday 8-3pm or Saturday 8-3pm, Sunday 9-12pm). One duty night every 2.5 weeks (Sole charge 6-8pm and inpatient check, if required, 10pm). This is a 4-site practice with the main practice being a beautiful, converted barn overlooking the countryside. You will be joining a team made up of 14 vets, 16 nurses and 10 support staff. With certificate holders in Orthopaedic, medicine and cardiology. The ideal candidate will be a caring, confident team player who has enthusiasm and great communication skills. There are four branches so some sole charge will be expected, and the candidate must have someone with some experience.
