We are looking for a full-time or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join our purpose-built practice in the lovely rural area of Ely, Cambridgeshire. We have an experienced and supportive 6 Vet team that works together to create a positive working environment.
Ideally the candidate will be at least 2 years qualified, be competent and/or confident in routine medical and surgical cases or be a more experienced/senior vet, to be a part of our forward thinking and progressive practice.
Our current Veterinary Surgeons consult throughout the day, with at least 1 full operating day per week. There is significant time allocated in the diary for liaising with clients, reporting results and case discussions.

- You will generally work a 4-day week of 41 hours.
- The role includes 1 in 6 consulting Saturday shifts.
- 1 in 4 inpatient responsibility consulting Saturday shifts.
- There will be no out-of-hours.
- The salary is from £34,000 to £60,000 plus depending on experience.
We are looking for a friendly Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys working in a close team. Experience would be ideal as well as confidence with surgery however training and support can be given. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people-oriented person, who is willing to support and guide your colleagues.
