We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Small Animal Vet to join a busy, progressive and well-established site in Cambridgeshire as a Lead Vet!
The successful candidate will be joining a genuinely friendly, supportive team who pride themselves on offering professional development and client satisfaction. Strong morals and an attractive ethos is held here.
Responsibilities:
As a Lead Vet you will be responsible for;
- Day to day duties from routine work to emergencies
- Ensuring top-quality patient and client care while driving the use of clinical services.
- Work closely with the Clinical Director, playing a key role in leadership and training, while also offering support to the nursing and client care staff.
Hours:
This is a full-time position consisting of 4x9 hour days with 1:4 weekends. There are no nights/on-call to ensure a healthy work/life balance.
The position includes half a day each week dedicated to non-clinical duties to manage these responsibilities effectively.
Facilities:
You will have access to digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, video-endoscopy, multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, tonometry, state-of-the-art operating theatre, treatment rooms and a calm and spacious cat ward, purpose-built physiotherapy and hydrotherapy unit with aquatic treadmill and K-Laser to name a few!

You will be joining a large team of vets, nurses and support staff who can offer full support with your transition.

On site is an experienced team who hold an array of interests and a variation of post graduate certificates which enables an interesting caseload.
Package:
On offer is a starting salary of £65,000 DOE plus;
