Are you interested in being part of a forward thinking, progressive practice? We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic equine veterinary surgeon to join our friendly team. All experience levels will be considered for the right team member.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new/recent grad to improve knowledge. We are keen for career progression with a view to people doing certificates etc and improving their clinical knowledge and gaining broad practical experience. More experienced vets will have the flexibility to manage their own case load, have free rein over their treatment options and ability to work up cases from start to finish in a well-equipped environment with access to lots of support.
We are a supportive, progressive, 9 vet ambulatory and clinic based team with a large range of state of the art equipment including:
• on farm and in clinic x-ray machines,
• shockwave and therapeutic ultrasound machines,
• multiple dental kits all battery powered,
• MTE and periodontal machine,

• telemetric ecg
We have in-patient facilities with two treatment rooms, full operating theatre with twin knock down boxes. We do sarcoid surgery, orthopaedic surgeries and a small amount of soft tissue surgery. We are a centre of excellence for equine dentistry accepting a range of advanced treatment referrals. We have a dedicated team of 3 EVNs and 2 in patient care nurses that provide excellent support for vets both in the clinic and on the road.
We have 3 multiple certificate holders and all other vets are working towards certificates in their areas of interest. This ensures excellent case by case back up. We also have a structure of informal clinical meetings to share thoughts and ideas and help improve our clinical skills and knowledge.
You will need to be passionate about equine practice and delivering great veterinary care, you need to be great at following up cases, and enthusiastic about learning and developing skills.
