We are a single site, busy first opinion, small animal practice who require an additional Veterinary Surgeon with excellent client care skills to join the team. We have spacious consulting and operating facilities with an inhouse lab alongside modern diagnostic kit to work up cases. This is a part time role involving 20-30 hours per week over 3 days and a share of Saturdays mornings. No OOH are required.
About the Practice
The Vets Place is a friendly, supportive practice based in a great location - easily accessible with the town and countryside both close by. We offer a modern, spacious, well-equipped practice with ultrasound, ECG, digital radiography, dental radiography, Idexx inhouse lab and KLaser. We are previous Petplan practice of the year winners, have a great team of experienced Veterinary Nurses and a fantastic loyal client base. We have a supportive fun loving team, including 2 certificate holders (CertAVP and CertVA) and 6 excellent RVNs.
We offer a high-quality service and are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with experience in first opinion small animal practice. You must be motivated with good communication skills and the ability to offer excellent client care. Confidence with routine surgery and dentistry required, a good sense of humour and willingness to be part of the team is essential.
