County Vets are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. Salary ranging from £40k - £60k DOE. 4 day working week available. No OOH. Full & Part time working options can be discussed. Visa fee's covered. Relocation Package available. Certificate funding available.
County Vets comprises of Friarswood in Newcastle Under Lyme, County Sandbach located in the heart of Sandbach and has been a constant figure on the high street of Alsager.
We are currently looking for a vet to support the team over the group, with shifts based at Alsager and to support the team at Friarswood.
County Alsager has a real local feel, with a loyal client base and a manageable caseload. Plenty of time to dedicate to the more tricky cases while being able to balance a nice number of ops. This certainly is not just a booster clinic but Alsager does give that time to reflect on cases and busier days at other sites.
Being located central to Newcastle under Lyme, Friarswood offers further exposure to a variety of medicine and surgery cases, surrounded by a large, up-tempo and supportive team.
As well as our own superb vets, we have great relationships with visiting specialists who can support with orthopedics, cardiology and ultrasonography (to name but a few), enabling our teams to learn and grants our clients access to even greater care. We also have access to regional surgical vets who can attend to help teach larger complex surgeries or even build confidence in those ops that you may have fell out of kilter with.

More than happy to look at a part time or full time option. Our full time vets work 40 hours and prefer this over 4 days with 2 in 7 Saturday mornings. We have no OOH, Sunday or Bank Holiday working. As an example, it would be great if as a full time candidate you could work 2 days at Alsager with 2 at Friarswood.
We are part of a wider group so there may be some occasional shifts at County Vets Sandbach or Beechwood to assist with annual leave cover.
