Permanent small animal Veterinary Surgeon wanted for a busy, friendly and supportive practice. We have a wide and varied medical and surgical caseload and you will have the ability (and support) to work up your own cases. The rota offers a 4-day week with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings and out of hours is limited to in-patient care only. The position can be flexible for the right candidate will be a minimum of 30 hours per week.
The practice is situated in the beautiful village of Betley on the Cheshire Staffordshire border. We are a modern, forward thinking, and friendly RCVS accredited practice with an experienced team of 5 vets and nurses including 2 certificate holders. We have all the equipment that you would expect and probably more. Due to the expertise and available equipment we refer very few of our cases enabling you to work up your own cases to a very high standard. We are lucky to be close to the Peak District, the North Wales coast and we are less than 2 hours from London, so you can make the most of your time off.
We are looking for a confident and highly motivated veterinary surgeon with a desire for clinical freedom. We can offer the support needed to new or recent graduates. You must have the ability to deliver excellent customer and patient care and high standard of communication. You must be a current member of the RCVS.
