The Role
Due to growth, we currently have an opening for a large animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy first opinion practice. Our work is predominately dairy based with some pigs, sheep and beef cattle. Vehicle provided and accommodation can be sourced if required. OOH rota shared with neighbouring practice 6 months of the year improving it from 1:3 nights and weekends to 1:6.

About Us
We were a long-established family practice with a very experienced and supportive team that recently joined IVC to augment our drive to provide the best working environment for staff and in turn optimum service to our clients. We have 3 sites in the Mid Ulster area (Coagh, Cookstown & Magherafelt) equipped with Easi-scans, portable Wopa foot paring crush with some in-house lab work. With the existing dairy client base and shared OOH, we consider our work-life balance very favourable.

Applicant Requirements
In the ever-changing farming environment, we are seeking a farm animal Veterinary Surgeon with interests in herd health and fertility with a drive to expand on our already busy workload. This role would be Ideally suited to a candidate with experience however, new graduates will be supported through our graduate training programme with a second on-call always available. Clean driving licence essential.
