Additional information

The Charlesworth Veterinary Surgery is a two-site small animal practice in Derbyshire. Our larger branch is in Clay Cross, supported by our second base in South Normanton. We are well equipped with all the usual kit, including digital x-ray, ultrasound and a full in-house lab, with the addition of a k-laser to support our chronic pain services. We are a supportive practice and encourage regular case discussions. Case continuity is also very important to us. As a team, we care to the best of our abilities for our patients, our clients and for each other. We’re an extremely social bunch! There’s always something going on outside of work. Recently we met up for staff picnics (weather permitting) as well as attending an escape room experience! We pride ourselves on teamwork, placing a heavy emphasis on supporting each other.

We are a dedicated, talented group of like-minded professionals – we are fortunate to have an excellent, efficient reception team and an exceptional, super-friendly nursing team who are hungry for knowledge and keen to achieve the highest standards of care - our emergency team is on sight so peace of mind for overnight care and a much-improved work/life balance - we are all committed to developing and improving our practice and are determined to make it the best it can be. We would love to welcome another passionate, experienced vet to bring their own unique skills and ideals for a happy team dynamic and top-notch client/patient care to join us on this journey.
