Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an equine vet to join their dedicated and experienced team in the beautiful Devon/Cornwall area, with flexibility in working hours and access to excellent facilities. This role is primarily ambulatory, covering all aspects of equine practice, ideal for an experienced vet interested in hands-on equine work in both clinical and field settings.
The practice prides itself on providing top-tier care for both horses and clients. All vets on the team have extensive equine experience, with many having owned and ridden horses. Several team members are working toward or have completed post-graduate qualifications.
This site offers modern facilities and equipment and features a large examination room with stocks, lameness diagnostic tools, and an operating theatre for elective surgeries as well as advanced portable equipment including Video gastroscope and endoscopes, Cuattro Slate Hub digital X-ray units, High-quality ultrasound scanners, Battery-powered dental kit and Shockwave and surgical laser.
Located in a beautiful market town surrounded by lush countryside, rolling hills, and wooded valleys, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. There are plenty of walking, cycling, and riding trails to explore the local area. The seaside town of Bude is a short drive away, offering stunning coastal scenery, exquisite beaches, and some of the best surf breaks in the UK.
This is a permanent, full-time role with an equal share of an OOH Rota. However, our client can be flexible and is happy to consider a part-time role or flexible hours for the right candidate so please do let us know your preferences.
This role offers a salary up to £50,000 DOE with a range of benefits including
