A fantastic opportunity for a vet who wants to be a good general practitioner, who enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. You will be provided with all interesting and very varied case loads which will enable you to gain a wide range of experience.

Our practice is situated in a beautiful part of Devon, with easy access to Dartmoor, the coast and Exeter City. We are a growing practice with an additional branch surgery opened in 2020. We have a fantastic team who are super friendly, supportive and forward thinking - made up of vets,students,nurses and a brilliant admin team! We strive for excellence and believe in working closely with our clients, offering informed choices and an excellent level of care for their pets. All the vets discuss cases regularly working well as a team but have plenty of clinical freedom and case continuity.

New graduates are considered and are well supported by our experienced vets.

We do require our vets to work a 1 in 6 or 7 on call rota including weekends depending on how many vets are employed. There are days off in lieu of weekends working ensuring you enjoy a good work life balance.

What’s on offer?

• Full or part time

• £1000 CPD allowance including 5 days

• A good pension scheme

• RCVS membership plus membership to one other professional organisation such as BVA or BSAVA.

• 38 hours per week either on a 4 or 4 1/2 day week shift pattern

• 1 year + experience preferred but not essential
